MG Guntank

Finally finished my MG Guntank, which I bought long time ago after my friend manage to influence me into buying it. It's quite plain but has a nice structure. So decided to use it for weathering experiment. My first time weathering and turns out not as easy as I thought. I am satisfied with the weathering, but made a HUGE mistake which causes a lot of structural breakdowns! A very good but costly lesson!

That's why I don't dare to repose it after finish assembling. And, can't make it as good as its box-art...

Big nasty guns from Kotobukiya

Finally finished all 5 weapons from Kotobukiya.

The weapons look cool on Frame Arms (by Kotobukiya). I have a feeling they don't match with Gundams...

Currently working on this one.

Still have a lot to learn about gunpla-ing (made a serious mistake) and a lot to be done...So don't expect updates soon....

HG Qanta (battle scar ver.)

And now, another one of my proud work, which deserve its own post....
A few customisations that worth mentioning here. First, it's a HG (1/144 scale), but it has:
  1. Not one, but TWO LEDs, one for the eyes, the other one for the chest. My first HG with LED (moreover, two LEDs instead of one, which is the case for my MGs).
  2. Battle scar. My first gunpla with battle scar and weathering. The effects look nice and is easier to do than I thought. But, still can't make it like a pro for some scar and weathering effects.
  3. Use a magnet for the saber so that it can be mounted on the left waist (something that MG Qanta has, which I want my HG to have it, too).
And after the long intro, here's the pics. Enjoy.

And now, as usual, don't expect any updates soon...

Support weapons and other

It's been long since I last updated, due to work, stress and laziness. Anyway, Finished a couple of items (save the good one for next). Bought some support weapon from Kotobukiya. I must say that they are quite awesome. FYI, the knuckle can be pushed back to spring load it. Then, a trigger can be push to make it pop to the front. And for the chainsaw, it has a spring that can be wound to make the chainsaw part moves. Anyway, here's the pics. Enjoy.

And also, bought a beam saber chopstick, and painted the handles since the original was all white.
